Liva LAP-PEX 220/ LAP-PEX 220T Active Lightning Rod is a lightning rod that works double acting according to the principle of “Piezo Crystalline and Early Flow Excitation (ESE, or ESEAT). With this feature (because it creates an early path to lightning with two different energy blocks), it is much more effective than its competitors.

Accordingly, there is an "ESE Energy Block" operating according to the Early Flow Excitation System in the upper part and a "Piezo Crystal Energy Block" operating with Wind Energy in the lower part. There are six (6) crystals placed around the body at an angle of 60 ° in the Piezo Crystal Energy Block.

With the double-acting structure of ESE, or ESEAT Energy Block and Piezo Crystal Energy Block within the lightning rod head and its supporting effect, it safely catches the lightning that will fall into the coverage area without falling to another point of the structure / facility and ensures that it is transmitted to the ground.

Liva LAP-PEX 220/ LAP-PEX 220T Lightning Rod should be activated with an activation test for periods not exceeding one year and / or when a lightning strike is received. The test of the lightning rod is made with a Magnetic Probe with the help of Liva Digital Lightning Rod Tester. Detailed information about the test is given on the General Information page.

It can be easily mountable top of the  2 '' lightning rod pole, by the adapter on the lightning rod. By the way, 2xØ8 mm round or 30x3 mm strip down conductors can be connect very easily to the Ligtning Rod. (*)

Like as all Liva Lightning Rods, LAP-CX040T model lightning rods are made of stainless steel materials to be resistant to atmospheric corrosion and lightning strikes.

For this reason, lightning rods can work for a very long time without any problem.
